They could be treated as KIA, which in effect they are since they can take no further action. You would need to evacuate them to ensure recovery.

Does it need more variability ? If it does which is the way to go 1) No more that one type 2) No more than 1 rolled for an action (sorry that eliminates 2D6) 3) Avoid the "uncommon" types - D4, D8, D12. So either use a D10 - gives a nice probability calculation or D20 - as previous. Think ...

£100 - 2000 pages, leather bound with metal corner peices, and tied in to a lod of copyrighted comon English terms ?

The other two rule sets in this series - although completely different, are both good to excellent. Yours should be at at least that standard.

I'd use 12.7mm square bases. Thats the same size as the old SPI or GDW counters and allows reasonaably close formations. For sheild wall type formations you could drop to 10x10, but you have to make them yourself. I'd not use hexes - pig to do, or circles which look VERY SILLY, and dont stack togeth...

Looks logical, the unit will take an action which give it the best survival chance. Apply that test to any proposed actions. You could add run to terrain cover.

On first look it's a bit too complicated.

Also - aimed fire does not happen all that often, indeed in WWII many did not fire at all. Could restrict it to weapons teams and snipers.

Been mucking with formatting - means I had to edit some table text to get it to fit.

Now Landscape and Areial - looks a bit easier to read. I think it will go to 4 pages if I rasied font size to 10 or more.

Twin - would mean 2 barrels, and two breaches in the same weapon - to fire at the same target. They won't develop twice the firepower, say 50% more than a single.

Best to glue fore and aft, most firing is done to front. There is also a size consideration - 15mm and above dont need gluing - smaller one do.
