Dark Fantasy FUBAR

Hey guys,

I mixed and merged my VSF FUBAR with FUBAR Medieval and came up with a Dark Fantasy FUBAR, suitable for the clash of mighty armies in Elric or R. E. Howard.

Please respond back with criticism, feedback, more spells, more skills, and more monsters.  No accolade is too small, no criticism will be dismissed.

I know a bunch of you are disaffected D&D and WHFB players, this has got to be good....

New in the June 25 draft:
--Clarifications and rejiggers
--Added Shield Wall
--Fixed a bunch of typos.
--Also fixed the list of available actions to include actual combat.

July 18th update (file dated July 16)
--Clarified a lot of the formation, characters, and charges questions from playtest.
--Added points costs to all stat options.
--The points formula had to go in order to keep it under 2pg, but the included point costs should ameliorate that ommission.

Needed -
--This still takes too long to play - need to keep streamlining it.
--More games played and feedback sent.

Small updates to the rules, clarifying that morale is checked after activation, and what happens to you when you're attacked in the rear.

Also added rosters for my Amazon and Roman armies, following a game where it was demonstrated they were pretty solid. The Snakeman roster is attached even though it has not yet been played. Files attached to the first post.

August 6, 2013 - Huge update to the way activation works. It's now a bare 4+ roll, and the unit's activation and other circumstances are a modification to the roll. It works out that units activate just a hair more easily.

Please tell me what you think of this!

I've consolidated all files for the "current" version into a single zipfile, and left a zipfile for the pre-overhaul rules as well.

August 8 - added activation clarifications based on playtest results, minor changes to the rosters.

Just wanted to say, great job with the Dark Fantasy rules. Been reading them today and can't wait to give them a try out with my mates at my local club. Just itching to get Orcs into action :D
